About Angela...
With a home base in
beautiful Asheville, North Carolina and a satellite
location in Southeast Asia, Angela Stott is truly an
international photographer.
Her work has been published in dozens of magazines and
on many magazine covers. She has been featured in a
cover article on destination weddings in PDN Magazine,
won a silver medal in Black and White Magazine’s Single
Image Contest in 2008 and had a chapter dedicated to her
work in Amherst Media’s recently published book ‘The Art
of Posing’.
Angela graduated from Virginia’s Governors School for
the Arts, and has a degree in Wilderness Leadership and
Art from Prescott College.
She has photographed Ambassadors, Actors, Models,
Musicians, and the CEO’s of large corporations, but
finds her most cherished work is documenting the moments
captured in family portraiture and joyous weddings.
Her work has an intuitive style that combines the best
of both classic and editorial influences resulting in
images that sing with originality and flair.
Angela's Specialties
When she is not
photographing families and weddings, Angela can be found
cooking, reading, practicing yoga, planning her garden
(which exists mostly in her mind as of now), traveling
with her son Max and her fiance Dennis, or chasing her
standard poodle/kangaroo Maisy around greater Asheville.
